Lines banned for Vale
Chris Lines will be suspended when Port Vale host Oldham.
Lines was sent off for two yellow card offences late on in the FA Cup win at Plymouth in midweek and will serve a one-match ban, meaning manager Micky Adams will have to make a change in midfield.
Changes in defence are also likely. Adams planned to play Joe Davis in the third-round replay against Argyle, only to be told shortly before kick-off the young defender was ineligible as he was on loan at Luton when the initial tie was played. That meant Carl Dickinson partnered Chris Robertson in the centre of the back four with Doug Loft filling in at left-back.
However, with Davis to come back into the reckoning along with Fulham loanee Jack Grimmer, who was also ineligible at Home Park, it is likely everyone will revert back to their usual positions.
On-loan midfielder David Worrall could finally make his first appearance for Oldham.
Worrall, borrowed from Rotherham at the start of the month, is still recovering from a groin problem which has left him on the sidelines since August but he has been training this week and may make Lee Johnson's squad.
Johnson declared the rest of his players as all "fit and raring to go" as they try to win on the road in Sky Bet League One for the first time since November.
Defender Cliff Byrne could come back into Johnson's thinking after returning to the north-west despite training with Ross County ahead of a possible move there earlier this week.
