Micky Adams faces a tactical decision ahead of Port Vale`s first home game of the season against Chesterfield. The Vale boss switched from his usual 4-4-2 formation - one which secured an impressive opening-day win at Bury - to a 3-5-2 system for Tuesday night`s memorable 3-1 Carling Cup triumph at QPR. And Adams must now decide which one to employ against the Spireites as he looks to continue the club`s 100% start to the season. He has kept faith with the same starting XI for both fixtures and that is again likely to be the case at Vale Park against a Chesterfield side who beat Barnet last Saturday before being undone 2-1 by Middlesbrough. Winger Lewis Haldane (ankle) and defender Ritchie Sutton (suspended) remain out, while captain Tommy Fraser should again make the bench following his midweek return from a badly bruised shin.
