Port Vale manager Micky Adams believes competition will be fierce to secure promotion from League Two this season. Speaking on the eve of the 2010/11 campaign, Adams has identified Gillingham, Wycombe, Southend, Stockport, Oxford, Stevenage and Saturday`s opening day opponents Bury as teams who will rival Vale in the battle to reach League One. While those including Rotherham, Morecambe, Bradford, Aldershot, Shrewsbury and Chesterfield are also certain to be in mix - contributing towards what is expected to be a tough campaign. "The teams relegated from League One will be up there, you can't write them off," Adams told BBC Radio Stoke. "Also the two teams that came up from the Blue Square Premier, Oxford and Stevenage, will be particularly strong. "Then you don't write off teams like Bury and ourselves, so I think it will be a tough league this year."
